Shanghai General Arts Design & Engineering Co., Ltd is a technology-intensive company which specializes in building’s façade design and consulting services.

 Our company, co-operating closely with world-wide famous  USA CDC Curtain Wall Design & Consulting Company and Belgium Extima International Engineering Consulting Company, has done a great deal of engineering technical consulting and design work of high-tech curtain walls which are large in scale and advanced in technology.  Our company has continuously developed and improved the technology in designing and being consultant on double-skinned dynamic ventilated curtain wall system, since 1997 when we co-operated with Belgium Extima International Engineering Consulting Company to undertake the project of the double-skinned dynamic inner-ventilated curtain wall system of Jiushi Building in Shanghai.  This was the first time to build such kind of curtain wall in Asia.  In 2004, together with USA CDC Curtain Wall Design & Consulting Company, we undertook the design and consulting work of double-skinned dynamic inner-ventilated curtain wall system of China National Petroleum Corporation Headquarters Building in Beijing, which is the most intellectualized in mainland China. With more and more practices, we have developed the design of double-skinned dynamic natural-ventilated curtain wall system from the preliminary technical qualitative stage to the more scientific technical parameter quantitative stage. In addition, we have designed some low-cost double-skinned dynamic natural-ventilated curtain wall system, e.g.  Beijing Ghost Street, The Headquarters’ Office Building of Shanghai Meite Curtain Wall Co., Ltd.  In addition to the above-mentioned high-ranking curtain wall system, our company’s business covers nearly all kinds of the curtain wall, such as: unitized curtain wall—Nanjing International Shopping Mall,  open-joint stainless steel cellular panel curtain wall — Shanghai China Mobile Building, circular irregular-shaped curtain wall— Shanghai Delong Building, the tallest apartment building —  Shimao Rivera Garden, point-fixing glass curtain wall—the out-patient and emergency department building of Shanghai Zhongshan Hospital, open-joint stone cladding —Shimao Sheshan International Conference Hotel and high heat-preserved unitized curtain wall—Siemens China Headquarters, etc.The total amount of different kinds of curtain wall is over 500,000㎡.
